Power Electric Donates School Supplies to Local Elementary

Power Electric employees gathered what seems like thousands of crayons and pencils plus everything else a student needs to get the school year started off right. We chose an elementary school in our metro area and will deliver in time for school starting.

“Our employees are fabulous charitable giving stewards of our community,” said President Jerry Kelley. “We’re thrilled to be able to make this donation to the school.”

Our office takes on a volunteer or charitable giving campaign quarterly and each time the donations are delivered is a great feeling. All of us are parents ourselves and we know what it takes to get kids ready for school. Being able to help families in need at this school is our way of giving back and it feels really good.
